New Delhi: Shri Amrit Lal Meena, Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Govt. of India, reviewed the performance of Coal India Ltd. (CIL) and its Subsidiaries at Coal India Limited Hq. in Kolkata.

Coal India Limited is digitizing mining operations in 7 mega mines. Aim at over 30% production growth through digital intervention in these mines.

All over 400 CIL coal mines to be covered and monitored through an integrated command and control system by March 2024. Massive plan under implementation in all subsidiaries.

Coal India to diversify to promote large-scale pump storage projects in abandoned coal mines under PPP.
